Delete your Bolbo account

How to delete your account in the Bolbo app, and what happens to your data.

In the app

Open Bolbo and sign in.
Open your profile (Dashboard).
Tap Delete account and confirm.

অ্যাপে: প্রোফাইল (Dashboard) খুলুন → Delete account → নিশ্চিত করুন।

Without the app

Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We delete the account and write back to confirm within 30 days.

অ্যাপ ছাড়া: আপনার অ্যাকাউন্টের ইমেইল থেকে [email protected]এ লিখুন। ৩০ দিনের মধ্যে আমরা অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে আপনাকে জানাব।

What is deleted

Everything stored about you on our server, straight away:

your account: email address, display name, avatar, and your Google profile picture address if you signed in with Google;
your learning progress: finished course sessions, English words learned, German vocabulary progress;
your streak and your total study time.

Deleting in the app also clears the app's data on your phone. If you are offline at that moment, the server deletion finishes the next time you are online.

What is kept

Nothing linked to your account. Crash reports never contained your email, your name or anything you typed; they are deleted automatically by our error-reporting service, Sentry, within 90 days.
